Stop by on Saturday, December 14th to meet Melissa LeBeau of MCL Designs. Melissa had a passion for jewelry for most of her life, but it wasn't until 12 years ago that she started taking her hobby seriously. In 2003, her business MCL Designs was born. Melissa started out stringing beads and selling her goods at local church festivals. Nowadays you can find her work at some of Rochester's best festivals, including Corn Hill Arts Fest and the Clothesline Arts Festival. Says Melissa: "I love to create pieces out of all types of metals and then pair them with leather, silk ribbon, chain.... the possibilities are endless!" Melissa will be at Let's Bead! between 10am and 6pm - stop in and meet the artist!
It's holiday time and this year we have dozens of holiday designs waiting for you to make. Kits are available now at Let's Bead!

Join us in supporting the Bead-It-Forward Project to support breast cancer research. The theme for 2014 is "Turn the tide on breast cancer" and we have designed patterns for dozens of squares with ocean, aquatic, and beach motifs. To encourage as much participation as we can, Let's Bead! is providing the looms (already set up with the warp threads!), the patterns, the beads and everything else needed to stitch the squares. All we need is you to come stitch with us! Stop in on Wednesday nights, or call the store for more stitching session times.
Private classes have become increasingly popular, as have our monthly Design du Jour Workshops, so we're trying something new this fall. Instead of offering our formal class schedule for September through November, we're giving you more flexible options. Choose from our extensive list of classes with many different instructors.
Do you know about our store project Free Patterns Program? If you'd like to make one of our store-designed projects, purchase the materials needed to make it and we'll give you the instructions for FREE! We have lots of great ideas and we're always adding more.
